"Check out this incredible arc shot of the gas tungsten arc welding process on a stainless steel butt weld! Here, I’m using the back feeding technique for the root pass while walking the cup. The filler rod is perfectly positioned below the bevel edges, with argon backing gas flowing smoothly. Notice how uniform and precise the arc is, giving me full control over the weld puddle and fusing both bevel edges, while also reinforcing the inner side of the weld joint.
