A very cold and dangerous stretch of weather is settling into central Alabama, with First Alert Weather Days beginning tonight and continuing through Monday morning due to an extended period of temperatures remaining below freezing.
Severe weather will again be possible in Alabama on Saturday, and a tornado watch has been extended for part of the state. The National Weather Service said a few tornadoes, damaging winds and heavy rain will all be possible today for mainly the southern half of the state.
