A minor controversy began after a Waymo robotaxi was caught blocking a bike lane, but the autonomous car company says it's actually the human driver's fault.

Driverless taxis are arriving in London this year, with Waymo planning to pilot-test its vehicles around the capital in April.

Driverless taxis may soon become a common sight on Orlando roadways as Waymo moves closer to launching commercial service in the city.

Regardless, Londoners will eventually be able to request a ride via the Waymo app. Inside the car, there’s a screen that will not only display safety videos, but also give updates on the car’s movements and allow the passengers to control the radio and air-conditioning.

In November, Waymo expanded its service area to stretch across more than 260 square miles of the San Francisco Bay Area, and added freeway access for passengers. Riders can now hail a driverless ride to San Jose Mineta International Airport as well as San Francisco International Airport.
