People across the Bay Area took to the streets on Friday during what's been billed as a national day of action to protest the action of federal immigration officers following the deaths of two people in Minnesota.

Protesters gathered in Oakland and San Jose to protest the Trump administration on the heels of the nationwide “Free America Walkout.”

Residents of the Bay Area gathered at 4th Street and Mission in San Francisco in solidarity with protesters in Minnesota.
