SINGAPORE, Feb 3 (Reuters) - U.S. planemaker Boeing is no longer building F-15 fighter jets for Indonesia, a company official said on Tuesday, ending what was a marquee deal for Jakarta's military expansion.

Though Boeing has regained some powers in recent months, the comments illustrate how the company continues to face US regulatory scrutiny.

Boeing is also supporting similar F-15 modernization efforts for another United States ally in Asia, Japan. The company received a $450.5 million contract from the U.S. Air Force in December 2024 for F-15 command and control capabilities to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

The seal issue comes as Boeing ( BA) remains under close watch from customers and investors while it completes flight testing with U.S. regulators. The aircraft, designed as a twin-engine successor to the 747, is now slated for first deliveries in 2027.
